To identify yours, check the roller stem for a stamped size or measure from the roller wheel center to the end of the stem. The track label, usually on the vertical piece near the top, will show the radius - 12-inch, 15-inch, or 32-inch - which determines how long the stem needs to be. Signs Your Amarr Roller Replacement Is Failing

• The door shakes or vibrates when opening. Worn roller bearings let the wheel wobble in the track, transferring vibration through the entire door section. In Allen, this accelerates when summer heat thins the bearing grease and dust from nearby construction blows into the tracks.

An owner can safely inspect rollers with the door closed and disconnected from the opener - look for cracked wheels, loose stems, or rollers that pop out of the track when you manually lift the door a few inches. Keep hands clear of the cable and spring area; the torsion spring above the door stores lethal tension and is not a homeowner repair.

Where DIY goes wrong: replacing a roller requires bending the track slightly at the seam to extract the old roller and seat the new one. Bend too little and the roller will not seat; bend too much and the track kinks, and now you need track realignment too.
